Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation | Maryland
The Pediatric Movement Center is seeking a compassionate, skilled Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) to join our transdisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation team. This clinician will provide functionally focused, family-centered clinical social work services designed to improve children's emotional regulation, behavioral skills, participation in therapy, and overall functional independence within daily routines.
At Pediatric Movement Center, we believe growth happens when talented people have the opportunity to contribute, lead, and shape what comes next. Our collaborative environment gives team members the opportunity to expand their expertise, develop new programs, take on leadership roles, and bring ideas to life. Whether you are growing your clinical career, exploring a new area of interest, or looking to make a broader impact, PMC provides the opportunity to build something meaningful.
The LCSW-C will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and functional assessments to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and regulatory functioning as it relates to participation in therapy and home environments. Based on assessment findings, the clinician will develop individualized, measurable intervention plans and monitor progress for children on their caseload.
Interventions are delivered using developmentally appropriate, play-based approaches informed by DIR/Floortime and CBT-based principles, with emphasis on behavioral skill development, self-regulation, coping strategies, caregiver coaching, and functional participation. The clinician will maintain thorough clinical documentation and provide caregiver education and home-based strategies to support carryover.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and collaboration within a transdisciplinary team including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists to ensure integrated, high-quality care.
